Opening Soon!!!

Hello everyone,

This is the first post for Companion Veterinary Clinic's new blog and new website. Please take a moment to look around and get to know us.

Visit the "About Us" page to meet myself, Dr. Kevin Benoit and Jessica, my beautiful wife, business partner and registered veterinary nurse (Animal Health Technologist). There you'll also meet our four-legged crew: Layla, Maggie Mae, Logan and Vegas. Digit, the three-legged cat prefered to stay indoors on this particular day and missed the shoot. Who am I to argue with a cat?

We'll be adding pics and bios of our staff as they join the team. We are so excited with our new hires we can hardly contain the news! We know you're going to be impressed with the level of skill and professionalism; not to mention their likability.

Please take a moment to visit the "Services" page. We are a full-service animal hospital with a focus on heath maintenance and disease prevention. With that being said, I've spent the past five years in a very busy emergency room, so if you have a pet emergency never hesitate to bring your pet to us. At Companion Veterinary Clinic we offer the following services and much more:

Health Consultations

Dental health

Behavior consultations

Nutritional counseling

Elective, diagnositc and emergency surgery

Medical services (diagnosing and treating diseases)

Advanced laboratory testing

Non-invasive diagnositcs such as:

High-detail digital x-rays and ultrasound imaging

*From runny noses to sore tails, we've got your pets covered!

We are working hard to bring the best in family veterinary medicine to the communites of south Edmonton and are aiming for an October 1st opening.

We'll begin pre-booking appointments the week before we open. We'll let you know with a sign in front of our building on 111th street and Blackurn Drive (check out the "Contact Us" page for a google map). We'll also be posting the announcement on this blog so go to the top right hand corner of our website and press the little RSS feed buttton to follow. We'll have regular updates, news, pet health articles and tips as well as serious business like pet food recalls and lost pet notices.

We're excited to meet you and your furry family so stop on by and say hello!

Yours truly and until next time,

Dr. Kevin Benoit
